Post- Reflection for Elementary Hours
Please view the above video for my post-elementary practicum reflection. Overall, working with in the library at the elementary level, it is clear that there are many things to consider when working with this population of students and teachers. Helping students learn how to select books at appropriate reading and age levels, working to create a physical space that helps kids to maximize and locate the resources, as well as to create lessons and a schedule that provides teachers and SLMS with adequate teaching time, as well as the content they teach. Overall, it was an interesting experience.
