Thus far in my career, I feel as though I've had a very unique experience, in terms of integrating a variety of technologies, information literacies, and library resources into the curriculum I teach.
During this practicum experience, I aim to gain more experience with the practical up keepings of the library, learn more about book selection, as well as mainitianign the library resources, as well as comparing the library layouts from different schools, and discuss the library experiences of the professionals I am working with, in order to learn more about how their experiences within the institution have changed as well as how different schools and institutions offer different experiences on the job.
I believe the organization or district for which one works, will shape the experience of the librarian and their daily as well as long-term duties. For example, larger districts may catalog all the books at the central office, where as the degree of responsibility for these tasks may be different in a smaller setting.
