December 10th: 7 ½ hours
-Created information seeking activities for students to locate and evaluate primary and secondary sources utilizing the school library, online resources, as well as organized and accompanied students on a filedtrip to Kenosha’s Civil War museum library, in order to conduct research.
-During this trip to the museum and working with students in the museums library, I had to help students to not only find sources, but to evaluate the difference between types of sources
-This was a trip that I organized to facilitate students in bettering their information literacy skills and assess how to find, organize, and synthesize information from traditional and nontraditional library sources.
-Organized the checking out of cameras, laptops, and video equipment
-Instructed students on using various technologies, to document their findings and reflections of the information they have collected from a multitude of resources.
